You can change the plate on Team RouteBuilders DK's busses.
I have chosen to change the plate on the VT-bus.
Unpack the files from the directory 'VT-BUS' into the route.
To change the plate you have to use the file skilt.bmp, The standard file look like this:
and is placed in the directory 'TEXTURES'.
Skilt.bmp consits of 3 fields, you have to keep inside these fields.
Fields 1: Plate on the front of the bus.
Fields 2: Plate above the front door.
Fields 3: Numberplate above the front door / numberplate on the back of the busses.
Plate 2/3 only exsists on some of the busses, to be sure, fill out all the fields.
The file skilt.bmp can be changed in MS-paint which is a standard program in Windows.
This is a changed version, named linie203.bmp
The bmp file now have to be converted to MSTS ace-format, i will recommand to use
In TGATOOL2 you export as Ace (no Alpha) (See picture)
Save the file as linie203.ace.
The graphics has now been changed, now we need to change the .s and .sd files.
these are located in the directory 'SHAPES'.
vtbus.s is edited with notepad, in W95/W98 use wordpad,
and search for skilt.ace, and replace it with linie203.ace
Save the file as linie203.s
vtbus.s is edited with notepad, in W95/W98 use wordpad,
'VTbus.s' is changed to linie203.s
Save the file as linie203.sd
The bus has now been changed to 'linie203' and the plates should be correct.
All we need now is to edit the .ref-filen.
Add the following to the .ref-filen:
and now you can use Route-Editor place your new bus on the route.
